ZIONI is a women fashion store @ Robson Street, Downtown Shopping District, which has been opened in that location for more than 8 years. EXTERIOR: striving to provide a modern and fashionable image to the exterior storefront, the two exterior wall pilasters on both sides were painted with a multi-width band pattern using different shades of grey and a fashion pink color that would also extend inside. The existing glass storefront was also fitted with a 3 color band decal that matches those over the pilasters, with a cut out “Z I O N I” that would be backlit from the store interior at night time. INTERIOR: in order to carry the same theme on the new storefront to the inside, the interior walls and ceiling were painted a single white color with all the four corner projections painted with the same multi-color bands. In addition, the existing fluorescent lights in the ceiling valances were all sleeved with a new color tube cover to give it a pinkish hue. Existing cashier counter, clothing racks, hanging shelves were all painted or laminated with a matching white color. New wall sconces with a pinkish hue and new anodized alum hanging racks were installed on the back and a new sign painted the same wall color was mounted above. New furnishing included lacquer painted low display units and a low, modern style, white leather bench. Existing display cubes were all fitted with both pink and mirror polycarbonate panels to make it both an interesting display of accessories and itself too. The existing fitting area was altered using a new custom made alum frame partition covered with a fire retardant, pink color fabric that were fitted with fluorescent lights inside to give it a little glow. Above the doorway to the fitting area, a light projector was installed that projected an abstract, pink color vertical striations image on the back wall.
